just got the newest update and it crashes at the startup screen. Please fix!

I have less issues with crashing, as I dont use any other apps when I run it. I will suggest a couple of features.

#1: tax per item (let me tell it which items have tax).
#2: price per unit, some produce is priced by weight and this program doesnt account for that.
#3: bar code scanning (red laser?)

Other than that it works ok for me.
